burn after reading

This is a great sicko movie which shows beyond a doubt that the average American is completely self centered and insane. It involves various government workers and others (narcissistic gym workers) who are all involved in a paranoid surreal blackmail plot. It's very New world order with the characters who don't think about anything but sex and beauty and kill people without remorse and high up men in government who are completely insane and don't know what they are doing. Nobody in this movie shows any guilt about anything or gives any indication of depth whatsoever. It's like they are all on Prozac or all spoiled children. There is a general feeling of total paranoia including black helicopters which I notice in a lot of movies and probably reflects the general paranoia of Americans. It's pretty funny though. John Malkovich is great as a drunken ex-government employee whose wife is cheating on him.

I know, I saw that movie and it was awesome!! It was a fun little slice of Americana. The characters were often hysterically nasty, self-absorbed, and didn't even seem like they knew they were being insane! I got to compliment Brad Pitt. This is the best performance I've seen him in since that great flick "Fight Club". The last movie I saw him in before this was that mindless piece of crap movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". I also really like John Malcovich. He, along with the rest of the actors here, seem like they knew how to act in order to make these caracters seem realistic. This movie is a huge step up for the Cohen Brothers, who directed this and also directed "No Country For Old Men".
